I was reading this interesting paper by Greg Spencer, PhD candidate at the University of Toronto a few minutes ago and thought my readers might find it interesting – so thought to place it!
The language is a bit technically challenging, but d0 persist with it – you’ll get the flow. The main thesis of the paper is that regions and organisations that have greater diversity tend to be more creatively advantageous.
Suggested reading: I particularly found pages 5, 8-9 and 11-15 interesting, whilst pages 16 through to 20 and onwards kicks off the issue of relating cognitive diversity to workplace competitiveness.
I recommend it as a good read as it links with the heart of my thinking: that a strategic approach to diversity is key for organisational growth and sustainability in the 21st century global workplace.
